By accessing or using Jeramyl (jeramyl.com, app.jeramyl.com, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to all users, including free plan users, paid subscribers, and team members added to an account.
The Service
Jeramyl is an AI-powered bookkeeping and business intelligence platform. It provides tools for tracking income and expenses, uploading receipts, managing customer records, and generating financial insights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes when possible.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Each account is for one person or entity. Account sharing with unrelated third parties is not permitted.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable Use
You may use Jeramyl for lawful business purposes. You may not:
- Use the service for any illegal activity or to store unlawfully obtained data.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service in an automated manner.
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the service or its infrastructure.
- Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you input into Jeramyl, including business records, transactions, customer data, and uploaded files.
By using the service, you grant Jeramyl a limited license to store, process, and display your data for the purpose of providing the service — including sending data to third-party processors (Supabase, Groq AI, Google Drive) as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for purposes beyond service delivery without your consent.
AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional financial, tax, or legal advice.
Payment & Plans
Jeramyl offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro at $15/month, Business at $39/month). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually depending on the option selected at checkout.
- Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not store full payment card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to current subscribers.
Payments and Merchant of Record
Payments for Jeramyl subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record.
When you purchase a Jeramyl subscription:
- Paddle processes your payment
- Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes (including VAT/GST where required)
- Paddle appears on your billing statement and receipt
- Paddle handles refunds and chargebacks
By purchasing Jeramyl, you agree that your transaction is with Paddle, and Jeramyl provides the software service and license.

Refund Policy
Refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
If you would like to request a refund, contact us at support@jeramyl.com. We will coordinate with Paddle to evaluate refund requests in accordance with Paddle's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

- Usage of the service

Subscription Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Billing receipts are issued by Paddle.
Users may manage subscriptions by:
- Cancelling from account settings
- Using the Paddle billing portal (when available)
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay for a paid plan. We will notify you before termination except in cases of severe violations.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jeramyl's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Jeramyl is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
AI-generated content, including transaction categorizations, business insights, and reports, is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which Jeramyl operates, as applicable.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
