What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — like your login state or preferences — across page loads and sessions.
Jeramyl uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Authentication: To keep you logged in to your Jeramyl account across sessions.
- Preferences: To remember UI state such as your last selected business or display settings.
We do not use cookies for behavioral advertising, cross-site tracking, or building user profiles for sale to third parties.
Cookies We Set
Jeramyl uses essential cookies required for authentication, security, and core functionality. The following cookies may be set on the app.jeramyl.com domain:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Auth session token — keeps you logged in to your account | 1 hour (auto-refreshed) | Essential |
| sb-refresh-token | Auth refresh token — used to renew access token without re-login | 60 days | Essential |
| jeramyl-active-biz | Stores your last selected business ID so the app opens to the right context | Session | Functional |
| __host-token | Infrastructure session token used for secure deployment environments | Session | Infrastructure |
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by our trusted infrastructure providers for authentication and hosting purposes. These are not advertising cookies and are necessary for the service to function.
If you enable the Google Drive integration, Google may set cookies when you authorize Jeramyl's access to your Drive. This is governed by Google's cookie policy.
During checkout, Paddle (our payment processor) may set cookies required for secure payment processing. See the section below for details.
Paddle Checkout Cookies
When purchasing a subscription, Paddle may set cookies required for:
- Secure checkout sessions
- Fraud prevention
- Payment processing
These cookies are only set during checkout and are governed by Paddle's privacy and cookie policies. Jeramyl does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note that blocking essential cookies (the auth cookies) will prevent you from staying logged in to Jeramyl. The service cannot function without them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add or remove cookies from the service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when this policy was last changed. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
